I love a rustic wedding, which is why I was delighted to be commisioned as the Bedfordshire Wedding Photographer at this gorgeous farm wedding. Being greeted in the morning by a bride and groom made of hay and one of the biggest bunch of smiles I have ever seen from a bridal party had me instantly convinced that this was going to be a fun day! Although the weather was doing what it does best in England, spirits were high, and I started capturing some of the stunning details from around the farm.
As the Bedfordshire Wedding Photographer, my first job was to shoot preparations and details. I was then heading to the ceremony, which was taking place at the All Saints Church in Wiltstead. The reception and preparations were at a farm owned by a friend of the couple. They had the perfect solution to taxi the guest two and from these locations. A bright red London Transport bus shuttled the bridal party to the church in ultimate style and was then loaded with happy guests for the trip back to the reception.
This wedding reception was an absolute party! Secret Singing Waiters caught the crowd off guard and had all guests laughing and singing within minutes of figuring out what was happening. Napkins were spinning in the air to ‘That’s Amore’ and the groomsmen were made to face off in a dancing battle that involved some of the most creative and hilarious dance moved I have had the pleasure of witnessing as a Bedfordshire Wedding Photographer. They were then put to shame by the very skilful flossing of the younger wedding guests. The speeches ended in a unicorn riding drinking competition where the groom and brides team raced to claim the first set of bragging rights as a newly married couple.
If you are looking for a Bedfordshire Wedding Photographer and would like to find out more about my style and approach, please feel free to contact me. I shoot mainly unobtrusive candid documentary wedding photography which focuses on the special moments and emotions from your big day. Although I am passionate about documenting the day as it unfolds, I always find time to spend with the newlyweds to produce some intimate and unique couples portraits that can make beautiful prints or full-page spreads in a wedding album.
